About Me

My photo
Hello and welcome to my blog! This is a new adventure for me. My goal is to share with you the things that I have made for my family, friends, God's Tiny Angels and my local hospital. God has given me the ability to create beautiful things and I will continue to use it for His glory. I am an old southern gal who loves God with all of my heart. I have 3 grown children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren. He has surely blessed me! So, sit back and enjoy looking at the pictures and hopefully they will inspire you to make something beautiful for someone else!

I  have added some pictures and patterns for the micro preemies. These patterns are for charity use only. These are not my creations, but are patterns that have been motified for the beginner knitter. Please notify me of any mistakes. Also, if you are looking for a charity, call your local hospital's NICU and see what their needs are. If we all work together we can make someone's life just a little more bearable. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my blog. Happy Stitching!!

  1. Hi,

I started making the Little Boy Blue blanket using a variegated yarn so I won't have to change colors. I was ok until rnd 4. Do I join with a dc in the same st where I am to tie off if I was changing colors? Then do 2dc in the same st. Where does the beg st of the 4dc go? Any other tips? Thanks!
